Definition of "Alumni"
The University's definition of an alumna/alumnus is anyone who completed at least one semester (full-time credit hours earned) at SLII, SLI, USL or UL.

Visit the Walk of Honor
The Walk of Honor was dedicated October 5, 2000. On the main marker reads the following inscription:
"The men and women whose names appear in the Walk of Honor are graduates of Southwestern Louisiana Industrial Institute, Southwestern Louisiana Institute, the University of Southwestern Louisiana and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Their silent presence here is a testament of their belief in the value of higher education and a reminder of their timeless connection to their alma mater." more
The mission of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Alumni Association is to promote good fellowship among alumni; to strengthen the ties of loyalty and devotion of alumni to their alma mater; and to at all times further the interests of the institution.
