Outstanding Alumni Award
The highest honor the University bestows upon a former student. It is given in recognition of outstanding professional and personal achievements that have brought honor and distinction to the University. One must be a graduate or former student having attended no less than 10 years ago. Awarded annually at Homecoming.
Distinguished Service Award
Recognizes alumni who have rendered outstanding and continuing service to the University and Alumni Association. It honors those who have given of their time, talents and resources over a period of no less than five years. Awarded at Leadership Weekend.
Alumni Service Award
Recognizes several people at one time (alumni or non-alumni) who have rendered continuing and outstanding service in support of Alumni Association programs. This award is designed to publicly thank and acknowledge those who volunteered significant amounts of their time, talents and resources during a given year.
Ragin' Cajun Spirit Award
This award was created and funded by former Association President Sid Ory, the man credited with coining the term "Ragin’ Cajuns." It recognizes a university employee who exemplifies the enthusiasm and never-say-die spirit of Ragin’ Cajuns. Nominations are accepted from University employees. The Ragin’ Cajun Spirit Award includes a $500 stipend for the recipient and a physical award.
