Spring Gala
Instituted in 1997, the Annual Spring Gala has been a fundraising event which University and community supporters await each year. On a given Saturday, the University of Louisiana Alumni Association hosts the Annual Spring Gala, our only fundraising event, on the grounds of the Alumni Center. The evening is one of the highlights of the year for us. The funds generated from the Spring Gala go towards the continued maintenance and upkeep of the Alumni Center, one of the 'gems of the University.' 
On March 15, 2008, we honored Dr. and Mrs. Ray Authement in recognition of their dedicated service to the University. This year's Gala took place at the Cajundome Convention Center.
